I had a very odd encounter with a Beluga whale at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. It was at the end of the day and the place was ready to close. I was the only member of the public there. I started talking to the whales in a high-squeaky voice (thinking that they might hear it better than a normal tone). One of the whales came out - spy hopping - and watched me ceaselessly for as long as I was talking - over 10 minutes. Meanwhile, the trainer was standing about 15 feet away, arms crossed, watching the whole thing. Afterwards, she said she had never seen the whale do that before.

I have no idea what happened there.

Or this is more propaganda from Commie China, and the photo actually shows a whale eating a dying diver?
