As long as you put some thought into them and research similar conditions, sure I'm fine with making up stuff. As mentioned in The Train Job, terraforming created a whole new degree of unknown illnesses and chronic health conditions. I would imagine biowarfare and genetically modified crops(drought resistant stuff etc) and viruses(for vaccines etc..) are still around as well, which could lead to some interesting new viruses and bacteria.

ElPagan, my scene will fit right in with what you wrote regarding Dale's clever escape.
Got a ton of work to finish before I can re-visit Dr. Jack, though. Sorry, Linc, I know I said I'd post it this morning, but you know how RL has a way of messing up one's intentions.
