Wow. A real Torontonian. Don't know many of those. But as you can tell, I live in T.O., downtown, Distillery District . . .
(politics/ Foreign Affairs Minister Bill Graham's riding -- he'll probably be re-elected but ya never know . . . /politics)
Yeah, I only know a handful of actual Torontonians Myself. Everyone here is from somewhere else. I grew up in the Beaches (anyone who calls it "the beach" can bite me!) and currently live on the Danforth as well. It's great to see there are other local browncoats. We'll have to target a theatre for opening day of Serenity.
Last but not least, Go Jack Go!!!!

I'm hopeful we can book a theatre for Browncoats. I don't think that will be a big problem, there's so many. I've talked with others, including staff at one SF store, who are talking the same thing. I would love to share the opener with Browncoats, because everyone will get why we're cheering our butts off when Serenity (the ship) first appears -- I miss that damned boat. As we get closer to next spring, the path will become clear.
Also, there are BCs in the GTA and all over southern Ontario.
(Politics/ Go Jack and Olivia go! /politics.)

Companions? *perk!* Y'all got those up there ? Man, Canada is more liberal than I was led to believe!

Only if the Liberals win on the 28th (the Canadians get it)
but anywho, enough with the political whatsit, i really like the whole prospect of a T.O. opening party thingy for Browncoats. And the firefly meetup site just isn't working
we should organize here, where the real fans are
summer is coming up
i'm free! lol

I'm also in London. Southwestern Ontario seems to be teeming with Browncoats.

just about
but then, i've made a lot of friends in English Quebec (more or less Montreal) who are huge Firefly fans
Canada must be teeming with 'em too.

Born at Toronto General Hospital, raised in Scarborough. Pickering is where I live (when I'm home from uni) but Toronto is where I'm from.

I'm a Torontonian as well, my roots don't run as far back as others here though.
It would be neat to see the distribution of members around worldwide cities.
