HUNTER and THE KEEPER run over to SHADOW.
he already passed back out and seemingly dreaming.

And cried, A sail! a sail!

SHADOW wakes up and is startled to see the 2 men standing over him.
he tries to get up.

KEEPER:
"lay down.

SHADOW lays down.

the 3 men talk.

SHADOW learns that the men are friendly.
he asks them if they see a spacecraft in the sky.

KEEPER looks in the sky then at the horizon.

KEEPER:
"nothing in the sky, but we may have trouble.
i see a ship with black sails heading directly at us."

No i guess it doesn't. But use your head. i Didn't harm those kids and when i was on the ship i had no intensions on taken nothing. I left on my own accord. Peacelike as it were.

SHADOW talks with HUNTER and THE KEEPER.

HUNTER tells SHADOW how he came to the island - by being 'pulled' from the surface somehow.

KEEPER:
"we believe that the BLACK LIGHTHOUSE was not just a monitoring station but also an experimental weapon
using a sort of magnetic tractor beam to draw ships from in orbit - down to the planet. unfortunately, most of them crashed.
i'll bet some of the survivors were turned into those savages, once the gas cloud hit."

SHADOW immediately thinks:
* if we can find those crashed ships - we could salvage the needed parts to fix TRANQUILITY.*

KEEPER then tells how he and HUNTER escaped
from the lighthouse as the 'savages' approached.

SHADOW:
"those savages are called reavers - outside this island. the PAX caused them to 'revert' back to a primal stage."

SHADOW then mentions the journals he found in the black lighthouse.

KEEPER:
"those are MY journals!
i wrote them to help anyone who came across this planet. to help everyone understand what happened here with that PAX experiment.
it changed the foliage and a small percent of the wildlife... and obviously some of the people."

the men continue to talk when they see a shuttle approaching.
it lands near them in the water, then drifts up alongside the boat.
the hatch opens and a man comes out.

SHADOW:
"MICHAEL!"

"How do you know Oreo? And Why did you go
looking for him?

Shiny interrupts Terry as he's about to answer,
"And how did you know to find him here?"

Shiny getting real mad walks closer Terry
her eyes dead locked on his,
"why do you want to bring Oreo back?
You with the Alliance?"

Shiny cocks her gun, " you have 3 seconds
to convince me not to shoot you, Starting NOW!"

Okay. One. I came here looking for someone. Didn't get much of a decription of the mark.

Two. Before i crashed. I pinged this planet and got a buzz back from your ship.

Three. While wondering around trying to find a way off this planet, I came across your crew man dead inside of a cage. when found your ship ad talked with those two kids, i figured this ship would be my best chance outta here. We make a deal. I can help bring back your crew mate and you guys give me a ride to the first planet with transport and you never see me again. everyone wins. Like i said i ain't look to beef with nobody. A job fell in my lap and i took it. thats it.

"Shiny softly squeezing the trigger of her weapon, fires another shot just missing terryy's foot"

you can camp out in front of the ship till the captain returns.

Terry
but there's things out here.

"Shiny smirks"

Yeah.

Shiny turns around and walks back into Tranquility.
She hits the button that closes the hatch.
She starts walking and call out to summer and storm, "come on guys let's get you something to eat."

The three walk to the galley, Summer and Storm sit while Shiny cooks super.
Shiny puts the meal on the table and grabs some plates and utensils,
She puts a setting in front each twin.
She then makes up a third plate and grabs a knife and fork and goes to sit down then stops staring at the full plate.

She walks out of the galley not saying a word bit thinking.... Why do I always feel bad, I shouldn't
sides that's what always gets me into trouble.

Shiny walks to the cargo bay and hits the button. The Hatch opens and she see's terry sitting on the ground, looking through his nap sack.

He looks up and see's Shiny carrying the plate
walking towards him she then holds it out to him.
He hesitates for a moment, Then his stomach lets out a large Growl.

Shiny, "take it, Its not poisoned."

Terry confused Takes the plate.

Shiny sits on the ground across from him.

Terry takes the plate and smells it then slowly
takes a small bite.

Shiny, "I'm not much of a cook, but at least it's food."

Terry, "thanks"

Shiny, "You said your ship crashed here, I might be able to get some parts for Tranquility. So I can get her flying again.
Would you mind taking me there in morning?

yeah, well, to be honest i was kinda con'd into her. The dealer i bought it from said all the right pretty words he needed for me to change my mind. I was lookin at Hk with jumpboosters. but, like my daddy always said, "Boy, now listen to me. there are three evils in the universe. The Devil. The Alliance. And Lawyers and Dealerships."

He and I were...He's was an alliance experiment. Or more so, a person that the alliance kidnapped and experimented on. The combined reaver DNA and blood with his own. trying to make some super weapon. The kids, summer and storm...

Here inside it you'll find the coordinates and name of the name you need to find in order to bring back you're friend. If by the time you're captain returns and you're still not convenced that i'm on your side...then just leave me here and go fix up your guy.

Just like that. you're done. Alliance is gonna want answers bout why you haven't contacted them and if you don't, you're be a wanted man.

"Terry lies down covering his fae with his hand. within minutes, he's snoring. shiny stares at him and begins thinking about Oreo."

Shiny's Eye's open, confused she looks around then sits up.

Terry, "You finally decided to wake up?

Shiny running her fingers through her hair in attempt to neaten it. "I Didn't plan on fallen asleep out here."

Terry," If you wanna go to the ship. we should
leave soon."

Shiny nods her head and walks into the ship
and see's the twins playing in the cargo bay.

Shiny, "I need to leave for awhile, I want you
two to keep the hatch closed, I have my comm
on me so if you need me comm me. OK?"

The twins both nod their heads.

Shiny go's and freshens up. Grabs two bottles of water and leaves the ship.

Shiny walks over to Terry and tosses him a bottle.
"lets go."

Shiny and Terry both walk into the forest.
Shiny walks a little behind, she reaches
around her back to feel her gun, Satisfied
She picks up her pace and walks next to Terry.

Shiny, "You know the Alliance wont stop hunting you, till they get you, dead or alive."

Terry, Nods, "I thought we covered that already."

Shiny gives him dirty look, All I'm saying is
Maybe the capt could use more crew is all."

Shiny stomps ahead of Terry Thinking."this guy
can really get under my skin at times".

"A noise off in the distance startles the duo. shiny whips her gun out and points it at Terry"

No. I crashed here alone, but i reckon in about ten seconds we won't be.

"Terry turns and takes off running. shiny confused and instantly satified that Terry isn't planning anything against her takes off as well"

DON'T KNOW! BUT ITS BIG!

"the noise quickly catches up tp the two. a loud screeches noise echos throughout the jungle"

Terry
THIS WAY! MOVE IT!

"ShinyFrye and Terry dart into a thicket of trees and bushes"

IT'S RIGHT BEHIND US!

"Darting and turning every direction, despartly trying to shake what was after them. Just out of terry corner vision he spots a nooks just big enough for the both of them inside a huge tree. He's reaches back and grabs shiny by the shoulder and they both make a leap for the nook."

KEEP AS CLOSE TO THE WALL AS YOU CAN!

"A loud screeching sound engulf every inch of the noise and a huge paw or hand with gaint dirty claws swipes and slashes as it tries to retrieve the contents insides. after a few seconds the screeching stops."

Shiny (Panting)
Is...it...gone? Is it still there?

I don't know. What ever it was, i might have left. I think just to be safe, we should wait here awhile just to be sure.

"Shiny nods her head in agreement"

What kinda ruttin planet is this anyways. Like somethin outta science fiction read.

(shiny and terry have fallen asleep within the confines of the nook. night has fallen and shiny begins to have a nightmare)

Shiny- Oreo? where are you?

(A figure emerges behind her)

Shiny- No! I wasn't my fault. I loved him.

Oreo- Love! HA! you never loved him. You created him. you and your alliance family. You took everything from him. Everything he'd ever known or cared about. Love! Pathetic. You dare try and hide behind false feelings. You who could not tell him of this so called love of your. Face it, he was just a thing to you. another something to hide behind.

Shiny- NO! You're wrong. I loved him and he's coming back to me.

Oreo- Yes he is coming back. but only to reap those who have sinned. He is death. And death is he is.
