We'll see though. They're running a test on the off chance it's just an infection. That would be the best cause we can just knock it out and back to happy kitty. Straight up kidney problems is more of a one way ticket to kitty heaven.

Thanks but everything sounds pretty bad. My mom, who's a nurse, and my aunt, who's a vet lab tech, both looked at the blood workup and they say it's kidney failure. There are even some things in there that point away from infection being the problem. I'll wait the couple days for lab results but if it's her kidneys I think I'll just let her go peacefully rather than try to keep her alive with pills and needles.

HUGS Zeek I've had to make that decision before. My kitty Boo had kidney failure and we had to let him go. I know he was happier that way than to suffer.
