Hey I have a ponder... how do you respond to unwanted advice?
I'm getting a lot of it ( especially from my mother) about what I should and shouldn't do. I'm pretty much going with " thanks, but I think I will stick to what my OBGYN reccommends"
Anyone got any better responses to people who think that because they had a certain thing work one way for them, it must be the same for everyone?

Meh, realized now I've ignored all advice and feel like a tool for doing so. Going your own way is good but having noone to blame all the BS on sucks.

I usually say "yeah good idea" and then don't do anything. That or if the person has no way of knowing better I just tell them I did whatever they suggested. I played the trumpet for years and years as far as my Dad knows. I also bought my brother a happy anniversary card as far as he knows. As well as plenty of other things I'm sure. It's just easier that way.

Good idea about getting the allergies thing checked out btw MsA.
