Whenever Geezer says that I think or feel or advocate something, don't believe him. I just spent another thread responding to his assertions that I "must" hate capitalists (I don't), that I "clearly" advocate torture (I don't) and that I want to kill all capitalists (I don't).

I don't want to have to bird-dog his strawmen through every thread. In fact, I'll prolly not respond much at all in the future, so take this as a kind of "ad in the paper" that I just disagree with everything he imputes to me.

So, you're basically saying that if you don't reply to some far out claims, it's because you strongly disagree, but don't want to waste your time stamping out each and every little fire, right ?

Ya could, yanno, admit Geeze overreacted a little without implying that he's universally fulla crap, he does make some good points here and there, but he did kinda lose his cool in regards to the capitalism thread.

And it's generally bad manners to take a disagreement from one thread to another, something I try very hard not to do, but we're all guilty of it here and there.

When Geezer can't win an argument he tries to derail it with strawman arguments. And he tries to get inside your head and make you argue his arguments by repeatedly lying. It's what he does. It's what he is.

BTW - My opinion - Geezer has allowed so many pieces of himself to be used and manipulated, there's no one left at home. What you're seeing now is a retiree left to his own devices. And they are a collection of twitches and Pavlovian reflexes, all that is left of what once was a person.
