Yeah, Fandango is awesome, a great buddy/road picture. I love the whole parachuting scene and the wedding at the end. Great stuff.

I'm thinking that also had Rachel Leigh Cook, Rachel Griffiths, and Bill Nighy. Charming flick. A similar feel I had from Awful Big Adventure, with Rickman, Georgina Cates, some Hugh guy.
Also just remembered The Last Mimzy, as I was buying it today. Wonderful performances by the kid actors.
And Zathura was quite good as well, better than I expected with such a young cast. Directed by Jon Favreau.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned one of the best
westerns ever made; BAD COMPANY. It perfectly fits
this category, very few people have ever seen it,
but the leader of the rock group Bad Company loved
it so much he named the group, their first album and
their biggest hit after it. If you didn't hate
UNFORGIVEN check this one out. you'll love it

I've got three, two that may not be as obscure and one that defiantly is.
Harald and Maude - one of the most hilarious movies I've seen.
Death Trance - It was described to me as a live-action anime and is one of those WTF movies.
Into the Mirror - this is a Korean film that, to my knowledge, hasn't been released in the US. It's part supernatural thriller, part horror movie, part cop movie, and part mystery. I've only found it via torrents, but it is very good. Assuming you aren't bothered by subtitles.

Yes the Film is called Conrack. I'd gorgotten that. I think it's because I read the book before I saw the film, and the name just stuck in my head. Glad there's someone else out there that likes it.

If you saw Millenium - get the book, both are good, but you'd appreciate the book a lot more having seen the movie.
NVGhost - I did see Savior and got royally bitched out by my ex(this was before she was ex) for showing it to her cause she found it so terribly, profoundly depressing, but I think there was some guilt there too, seeing the consequences of us-n-them politics from the viewpoint of those impacted personally by them.
Damn good flick, but best watched with a couple valium handy.
