I started lurking in January 2003 after seeing Firefly (when it originally aired (such as it was)) and then getting the Firefly DVD for Christmas (thanks, MalsWay!).

Not sure of my number, but I joined this site on Saturday, December 24, 2005. But I've been a browncoat since day 1.
Forums usually tend to slowly fade away when they are based on 1 particular subject. Everything gets talked about, more than once, and there hasn't been too much news on anything new happening. Few might lose hope, most just run out of stuff to say.
