To be honest,this forum has almost scared me off.I'm a definate newbie.A month ago i'd never watched a single episode of Firefly.I love the 'verse now.
I wanted to get involved in the fan community,try to help get a sequel or whatever I could do.The more I got involved in the forums,the more I realized that some people are just brutal to each other.I'm actually a little scared to post sometimes.I'm afraid I'll post the wrong things and just get scorched.

Bah! Post away. We've all been flamed at one time or another. Several of us can still share a beer and have a laugh about it.

Best bet is to stay out of the RWED area unless you've got a very thick skin. Other parts of the site are much friendlier, even between those who fight tooth and nail in here.

I find it interesting that Frem calls others sock puppets in one post, then in the next post claims to be the puppet master over all of us.

I think almost all of the posters here seem to have distinctive personalities, multiple personality disorder is so rare as not to be a possibility, but I have noticed a few sex changes over time though.

Interesting thread. That is why I left. I actually found some other forums where discussion is heated, yes, but civil and intelligent. RWED has intelligence, which attracts me, but also a lot of emotional immaturity, projection, and downright hatred. Maybe it is the anonymity, I don't know. People feel they can cathart here, but forget there are real people behind the fake names on the receiving end.

I have a love hate relationship here. I hate the negativity, and won't argue anymore. But I can't seem to help stopping by and seeing what everyone is thinking today.

Please, stick around, and be yourself. I fought for this forum to accept Pirate News, who has serious issues, and has been through some stuff the rest of us haven't. Moreover, they accept me, which is a sign of i think a pretty extreme level of tolerance. Yeah, sure, do people get shot at here? All the time, including, perhaps especially, yours truly.

Now, if you forgive me, or even if you don't, I aim to misbehave.
