Yes, apparently we drove her crazy. Although, admittedly, it wasn't exactly a long drive...
Pizmo, Mike,
While that's funny in its way, there's also a level on which it's not funny, and there is a serious side to all this. Didn't strike me until someone resurected the name.
After seeing that post by '13, I changed my mind.
Honestly, I was assuming it was Whozit, or part of that crowd playing a prank on us, and so I was having fun with it. No offense to any of the parties concerned.
But these people aren't really crazy, they're just annoying, at times.
Assume this is river6213, and take it seriously.
It's not a joke anymore. If it is a joke, and some Whozit is behind it, come clean, but don't pretend to do so ask a prank.
I'm extremely serious about this. I was a guineapig of the Blue Sun Corporation for 3 years, and let me say, two by two, hands of blue, I know where that comes from. And let me say, I ran, I fled the country, almost didn't make it, I was detained by Homeland security for 3 days on my way out, they had a doctor come and check me out. He gave me a clean bill of health, because I was a damn good faker. For a while. Just long enough. But Blue Sun held me down and forcefed me drugs, even stuff that was on my medical record that I had a negative reaction to. They screwed me up real good. They had me slated for shock therapy, and they wanted to cut open my brain. It wasn't an old style frontal lobotomy they had in mind, it was just some lobe they wanted to cut in and remove. In fact, Firefly was a real help to me, as was, and this may sound corny, Matchbox 20, because Rob Thomas sang about this sort of stuff, and he'd been there, and was okay, and that was more comfort than watching the Wall, listening to Pink Floyd and knowing that Syd Barrett had lost his mind and been in the nuthouse for life, that wasn't helping.
SO, Yeah, I sympathize with character of River Tam very much. Anyone else who does, because they've been there, they know the score, I'm not going to be neutral, I have there back, whether they want me on their side or not, they just might need it.
You were around when I came on, I was here when river6213 came on, we both were. And sure, we watched the fireworks. But we also know that she's for real, and not just pulling a prank on everyone. So, assume that's the case, and that this isn't funny anymore.

That is a take-off on a poem. Looking it up, it lead me to this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mondegreen
A mondegreen is the mishearing or misinterpretation of a phrase, typically a standardized phrase such as a line in a poem or a lyric in a song ...
The "top 3" mondegreens submitted regularly to mondegreen expert Jon Carroll are:
Gladly the cross-eyed bear (from the line in the hymn "Keep Thou My Way" by Fanny Crosby, "Kept by Thy tender care, gladly the cross I'll bear")
There's a bathroom on the right (the line at the end of each verse of "Bad Moon Rising" by Creedence Clearwater Revival: "There's a bad moon on the rise")
'Scuse me while I kiss this guy (from a lyric in the song "Purple Haze", by Jimi Hendrix: "'Scuse me while I kiss the sky").
Perhaps the greatest number of mondegreens for a single line of lyrics is for the song Blue (Da Ba Dee) by Eiffel 65. The actual lyrics are gibberish ("n da ba dee da ba dye"), but there are tens of possible mondegreens for it, perhaps the most well-known ones being "if I were green I would die", "in Aberdeen I will die" and "and I'm in need of a guy".
In Stevie Nicks' song Edge of Seventeen the line "Just like a white-winged dove" is often misheard as "Just like a one-winged dove". The title itself originated from a mishearing of "age of seventeen".
In an episode of the television sitcom Friends, Phoebe believes the lyric from Elton John's "Tiny Dancer", "Hold me closer, tiny dancer" is actually "Hold me close, young Tony Danza."
In the CBS sitcom The Nanny, "The girl with kaleidoscope eyes," from the song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" by The Beatles, is misheard as "The girl with colitis goes by."

Kirk, what took ya so long ?
I was waitin for someone to catch that little joke, usually folks don't, some of my humor is a bit too subtle and obscure to carry over into text.
Sometimes it's a bit cruel too, but I blame the cat.
While I do like to yank a chain here and there, I wouldn't sock puppet though, no damn good at it since it'd be bloody obvious within the first two paragraphs who it was, lol.

Hi DT
I know SignyM personally (hey, it's a small world for people who do what we do), and she is NOT RiverLove.
lol. I've known this for many years. I'm not sure that she's not RiverLove, but it was mostly meant as a snark, and an interesting and humorous possibility. They share a number of mannerism, I was just analyzing posts, that's what lead me to the conclusion. I was less serious about Whozit being Chrisisall, but again, not something I would completely rule out. I mean, if someone were just screwing with us for no particular reason.
Neither of them are Finn. I can't say that neither of them are Auraptor for sure. If they are someone's second ID, it's more likely that a lurker is suspect.
As for "Who is River6213?" Can I get the $1000!?
Sorry, that didn't occur to me earlier. Ouch. Firsted. Pwned, all of that. Actually, I'm going to go with RiverLove is plenty crazy enough to be River6213, but not smart enough, no offense love.
Yes, apparently we drove her crazy. Although, admittedly, it wasn't exactly a long drive...

Oh.... okay. That's now your standard response to Sig, regardless of the topic.
Creepy much?
