I guess this is the 1st time I've seen Vamps in armor , which is what I had to ask.

I personally always thought the less in between Kate Beckinsale and the viewer, the better. I guess she's not in this one. Still, I have to agree that it's a stake stopper, and true vampyres have to remain more cool than lichens.

I thought the first film was pretty decent, the second film though was a steaming pile of crap (with the longest and most unnecessairly pornographic sex scene ever btw).

I like Lycans though, as well as vamps in sweet medival armor. Plus this is the prequel that will flesh out the first story's history as to how the war began, so I'll probably watch.

Armor aside, i do like how Bill Nighy keeps switching types of roles, like from wimpy geek in Valkyrie back to badaxx in Underworld. Wish he'd done a part in Firefly.
