It's not that I mind digging into my work, but the multiple copies of bunnies that result from getting too close to the you-know-what at the super secret facility are really getting out of hand.

Should I try a new detergent? The drycleaner's has absolutely refused to take any more of my laundry. (Their help broke down into tears and quit after the incident with the centrifuge malfunction.)

We won't even discuss what happened when I used fabric softener last week. Sum it up with "fluffy bunny".

effing hell HK,

my review situation is actually worse as I've had 3 in seven years, my 3 & 6 month probation and one about 18 months ago but the important bit, raises seem to be processed seperately so I've not been screwed over in that way, well not quite but that's a whole other story.

Is there some kind of grievence policy/procedure that is applicable/worth going through? I know you're in a pretty specialised area so don't know what company jumping options you have.

I wish there was something more useful I could say, just reminds me that no matter how crappy my company/job situation get I at least get on really well with my team mates and my boss.

and FLT, Skype is a VOIP phone service. You can use it to make calls for free over the interweb to other skype users, or even calls to a landline for a fee. Google should answer all your questions about it.

MsA you are not alone.

Well I made it through my first week on 12s!

On Tuesday I was heading out the door, said something about day 2 of 3, and Doctroid came back with "hump day!". I knew there was a reason I loved that man. It made the whole day go faster because I kept reminding myself there were not three more just like it to follow.

Woke up this morning with my feet and back still sore from standing on a completely ineffectual mat for almost 13 hours yesterday. (It might have been a little less tiring, but we had a nurse otu sick, then another went home with vertigo at lunch.) So I dropped off the boychild at school, we dropped off a car, he dropped off me, then I dropped off for a nap from 10-1. That felt GOOD. I'm going to make some cocoa, then decide what to do while the snow falls today. I may decide that posting here and making dinner is sufficient effort on my part and just take another nap. Hmm...

busy day at work.

Crap day all round in fact. Meant to be joyous as seeing the Boosh tonight but my Gran fell this morning and broke her hip and so now is in the same hospital as her husband who has been dying quietly for a couple of months now, kind of shitty all round.

Not really feeling like work and neither The Mighty Boosh or Lego Batman's imminent arrival can cheer me, oh and I am on phone support today and dealing with ...

there's not really anything anyone can do MsA. Folks are heading down there, I've got tell my sis later as she's a teacher and so folks couldn't get hold of her and they're heading into cell phone hell but she's not been too well either recently, just a bunch of crap hitting all at once.

Doesn't help that I feel like shite as other half has an infected wisdom tooth so was up half the night and kept me up as I didn't have my earplugs in as on call.

Because, for its time, the graphic novel was genius. There are so many fine and powerful points within that series, I suspect most of them will be lost in Hollywood translation. Specifically, the actual view of "super heroes" and the... emotional impact... of the scope and breadth of Ozymandias' plan implemented. Based on my experience, I just don't think Hollywood has the patience or intelligence to pull it off the way it was intended.
