I have to admit I found it disturbing when he was caught lying on the campaign trail. Somewhere, in a debate or interview, someone said "what you just said isn't true" basically, and he admitted it right away and then answered the question. I thought holy f^&*. He just lied to the American public on national television, and then rolled right over like it was nothing. Since then, he's done it a lot. Wish I could remember that first incident. I think it was a democratic primary debate, but I'm not sure.

Well, frankly I am of the mind that we really oughta finish off the Republicans while they're down, and once that's done get behind third parties and wait for the Democrats to blink, then repeat the process with them.
A revolution without the violence, clean out a hopelessly corrupt political system and a pair of parties that have gone to seed so badly they really don't have but the slightest of differences between em.

I agree with Frem - it's not the people so much as the system, it brings out the worst in them. It's to a point where it's pathways are so fixed that no one has much of a chance of ending up anywhere but in the trap.
Lots of things in this country are like that, old and tired and prone to failure. Big 3? Healthcare? Stand back and look at things from a wider view, from the future looking back. How will we feel in 20 years? Didn't the internet and the digital age just happen?
While we're at it, let's take a real close look at the piece of paper, what's it called? The Constitution. Every 100 years we should peak under it's cover... with great care of course.
