Hi, everyone! I'm currently serving in Iraq from the 615th Contingency Response Group (USAF) and I wanna thank you all for your generosity and that we (the troops) appreciate your support and every single act of kindness such as this.
btw, I saw the 1st dvd of the tv series a few days ago for the 1st time during my down time and I automagically got hooked after the first episode =)

Hey, just saw this so make sure to mark your DVD's.
"As you might know, on occasion the Iraqi's have no problem supplying movie DVD's at a fraction of the cost back home. What you are not aware of is the fact that those movies are stolen off the bases and sold back to the soldiers. I recommend that when you supply that information to those who send packages and to the soldiers/Marines whom apply for items to be sent in, that they mark the movies to prevent unscrupulous individuals from benefiting from the unwary." We strongly suggest that if you send any CDs or DVDs, use a permanent magic marker and simply put "AnySoldier.com" on both the cover and CD/DVD. It won't take long before these won't be a target anymore... -Marty

By the way, I just got an Amazon email notification that there's a big sci-fi sale right now. All Buffy, Angel and Firefly TV DVDs are on sale (Firefly's back down to $19.99). So if you're planning on sending DVDs to someone like the soldier ideas mentioned in this thread, or if you're at least buying yourself another loaner set, now looks like a good time to make that purchase!
