Its 9-33, so he could do 33 years or as little as 9.

Edited to add: Simpson is 61, so he'll get released at 70 for age/health reasons so the State isn't on the hook for his old age health care. I guarrantee that was the Judges thinking.

I remember in the 90's when OJ was on trial, the africian american community made excuse after excuse for him. Chappell did a sketch about this about 5 years ago.

Now that Obama is president-elect, nobody seems to care about OJ anymore. I don't hear pundits with guests making up excuses. Rallies aren't being held for him. He's fading into a corner.

He murdered 2 people and everyone knows it. He was arrogant and thought he could anything.

You know, I do feel he oughta do the time - but you all sittin here calling for some vigilante action behind bars...

I want you to stop and think about just how many innocent folk, or people guilty of ridiculous petty shit that shouldn't even be criminal in the first place - are abused, victimised, or even murdered behind bars, and for what, what purpose does this serve ?

If you want a lynching, then fucking have one.

But don't go hiding behind the fiction of justice while wishing for such a thing, it's blatantly hypocritical.

Ponder one of your friends having their throat slit in prison while doing three months on a possession of a "lookalike substance" cause some cop wanted to be an ass and he grew his own catnip.

So if you please, don't pretend to care about justice and then call for rule of the gun after it's done.

Totally. Jokes get made, but really, I'd overhaul the whole system for that reason. I once got beat up in the boy's locker room in Junior High because the school bully was told I called him a name, and he could because it was an unsupervised area...but that was SCHOOL, why are there ANY rapes or murders in a PRISON SETTING? That by definition is incompetence at best and plain evil at worst.

Christopher Scarver killed Jeffrey Dahmer saying "it was the work of God." There are plenty of loonatics in Prison who may like to kill O.J. for all kinds of reasons. Revenge, publicity or they hate the Buffalo Bills. Somone in Prison may do it so they can bragg that they're the one who killed O.J. for no other reason.
