Alternatively, you could throw a tantrum and/or offend folk to the point where they wouldn't work with you even if they did agree, thus silencing yourself simply by virtue of being a dick to everyone.
That's why I am so damned concerned, cause most supposedly conservative folk HAVE taken that route, leaving me with not a whole damn lot of collected voices to effectively oppose boneheaded policies.
And yet, those that pissed in the pond, poisoned the well and brought about that inability will no doubt be the first to whine about policies they might have been able to oppose if they'd not been such childish little shitheels and blown any chance of useful cooperation.
