The YouTube clip is 50 minutes shorter. Obviously parts have been left out so just from a simple point of view it has been edited. So which parts were kept?

Is it safe to say that all of the white text inserts are edits?

At the 29 minute mark in the original you'll hear Brokaw wonder why we haven't heard more about China from either candidate, and then you'll hear them both wonder about both candidates, "who their people are going to be."
Clearly, they don't know a lot about either.

Obvious cut - listen for it, after Rose askes, "have we had a serious debate on foreign policy in this country?" Brokaw says, "no, we've not had..." EDIT, right into "we don't know a lot about Obama..."

Ironic that in the original, complete interview, Brokaw talked about bloggers and how when they travel with the candidates he noticed that they would interview the candidates until they got a "gotcha!" moment, at which time they'd go back to their computers to post instead of getting the whole story.

I have a person in my family who had a stroke at an unusually early age. Getting medical care and rehabilitation services is difficult in the extreme, and sometimes simply impossible. And I have spent the last decade-plus scrimping and saving for the day when I am no longer alive and this person will have to live off of saved money and the meager government resources available.

But I have to say she seems to have done a great job foisting off the care to her family (Trig being carted around like a sack of potatoes by even the smallest kids and going hand to hand before - briefly - resting in her arms before someone relieves her of the burden), seems to have no concern about where IS Trig at any point in time (wanted to point him out during a speech but didn't realize he wasn't there until she couldn't find him and just ... kept on speaking ...), wearing Trig like a badge when needed, using government money to travel and care for her kids during her campaign. Yeah, she's the role model for loving maternalism.

Dealing with the mentally handicapped is challenging enough in and of itself, but what's worse is the educational systems habit of classing square peg antisocial types in the same category and shoving them off on folk like you, that has GOT to suck, cause they're even harder to deal with - they don't like other people, don't wanna be there, and all too often, you being the nearest representative of a system they've come to despise and resent, they'll take it out on you whether you're deserving of that treatment or not.

And it takes a very special sort of teacher to not only deal with them, but teach them anything at all, much less how to get along with others, especially when they're a very bright, very hostile little cuss who thinks everyone else on the planet is a half-wit.

Lookin at it from the other end of the telescope so many years down the road, I oughta be glad Chaffinch didn't strangle my obnoxious little ass, heaven knows she prolly wanted to most of the time.

Poor lady got stuck with not only the mentally handicapped, but every square peg in the system, and I daresay she made a good job of it, she knew I didn't care much for humans, and so adopted a class pet and put me in charge of it's care.

And just like that, the trouble stopped - my attachment to said pet kinda bled over on the rest of em and sorta overrode my natural hostility to other humans, problem solved.

Interesting side note, a french lop (a rather largish bunny, often hitting 12lbs or more) is quite smart and unexpectedly affectionate for a bunny rabbit - using bits of fruit from lunch, I taught her all the common dog tricks, and she learned to use a cat litter box with little encouragement, putting an end to the newspaper mess most rabbit owners get stuck with.

Oh yeah, and Bunnies can purr, too, it's kind of a wheezy, honky little sound, but that's what it is, really.

I didn't say you spelled "your" wrong - you used it incorrectly. You used it as a contraction of "you are". "Your" is the possesive version of "you", but that's not how you used it.

As to my spelling, I flat out said in my post that I am prone to typos - so nice catch there, skippy, after I pretty much warned that they were coming.

You're trying to use the contraction of "you are". When contracting two words, an apostrophe goes where the removed letter or letters were, hence "you are" becomes "you're". The word you're using is "your", implying ownership ("Is that your best grammar? You're not very good at it.")

But what you did was not a typo. You misused it consistantly, over several posts, and then when corrected, said that I had it wrong, that I should look it up, and that you were absolutely right.

That is not a typo - and you know it. You were wrong, made an ass of yourself insisting that you were not, and are now trying to talk around it.

Have the courage to admit a mistake, coward.

So I pointed out the irony of your saying that, since you clearly didn't know how to properly use a very basic word.

Good for you. Me too, well, except the British Lit part. I myself majored in media studies. But I was in the gifted program since 2nd grade, and now run the gifted program for my school.

So, how do I owe you an appology? You jumped my case for something I said to Rappy, not you. Then, you insisted you were right on something you were undeniably wrong on.

So, since you said I was the judge, I would say it's quite clear you are the one who should be appologizing.
