This past week, in Florida, I heard many people tell me one of the primary reasons they are voting for Obama is because he did not vote for the war in Iraq….

This is true…..As it is also true, that Sarah Palin did not vote for the war either……

It would have been impossible for them to do so…..as neither were US Senators in 2002, when the vote occurred….and only US senators had the vote…

It is amazing to me….this late in the game…that many people still do not know this….

these people do not understand that when Obama talks about his courage in not voting for the war…he is trying to argue that it was courageous for him to tell his ultra-left leaning, god damn America screaming, Nation of Islam bow-tie wearing, pentagon bombing, PLO working, and never proud enough…neighborhood friends…that he was against the war in Iraq…

courageous decision?….I would say obvious decision…

PS:

For the haters….who will predictably respond to this post…please provide documentation of any anti-war movements/organizations that Obama worked with and/or founded……

Obama never said he voted against the war. He DID go on record opposing it ASAP when it was very 'popular' with pretty much everyone else.

Please PN - try to put aside your delusions. They make you miserable and you end up wasting your time, energy and resources fighting pointless fights instead of fixing real problems.

Yes, we know that he wasn't in the Senate at the time, PN

He was outspoken at time, saying that he did not approve of the decision, and that the war was a wrong choice.

For most of us your point is somewhat salient. He was not put in a politically expedient position where voting against the war might jeapordize his seat.

the point though, is that his judgement was right at the time.

I hope that he would have voted the same way had he been in the Senate, but I can't be 100 percent certain.

Since he wasn't elected to the US Senate, Hussein Obama "voted" against Iraq War #3 with his neighbors and business partners, those nice folks who bombed the Pentagon, bombed the US Supreme Court, bombed NYPD, bombed and killed their own bombers.
