well,

I'm not sure about that...

the truth is wherever the hell the truth happens to be...(empirical truth, not truthiness)

the truth could be further to the left, or further to the right than anybody has considered. the truth could not be found in the middle of the sun revolves around the earth, and appolo rides the sun across the sky in his chariot. Both are wrong, and the truth is elsewhere.

Righteous,

Lol, yes you ARE correct.

However, that leads to another question.

Where did the Universe come from?

"Gas balls"

Ok.

Im not a Creationist, mind, but I do feel that BOTH religion and Science have a place in our understanding of the Universe(s).

Again, in the middle somewhere.

Ummm.... not always. Two propositions:

2+2=4
2+2=22

Does this mean that 2+2=13?

Just to modify your statement that the truth is not always between positions.... it may be at completely right angles, or even further out than you anticipate. But truth is often complicated. The question is: how does one even see the truth? We all view the world thru pretty heavy-duty filters made of assumption, expectation, even physical predisposition. (A flight of stairs looks completely different to a wheelie and a traceur.)

And how do we know the truth when we see it?

"Does this mean that 2+2=13?"

It can. Maybe. If by "13" you meant 1 + 3, but forgot the addition sign....

However, you make a good point.

Truth is not always in the middle of 2 opposing viewpoints.

How about:
Truth is usually in the middle, in terms of our political system.
