Congrats to Wulf for finding the perfect metaphor for this election: Republicans so desperate that they'll cut into their own face to spite the Obama supporter.
I also agree that she's the perfect Republican: mentally unstable, has no idea what is good for her, willing to stir up race hate, backed people those who have little to no interest in the facts.

That one crossed my mind too, but not everyone chooses to carry, whether they have the right or not, and a lot of localities make getting a CCW near impossible, alas...
Still, most of the girls I know woulda blown a hole in his ass right quick, the ONLY one who carries a caliber starting with a number less than "4" happens to be an 82 year old catholic sweetheart and former nun, in fact.
Not to sound a bit reverse-sexist, but I've noticed women in general once they decide to carry prefer something a little more... err, serious, than a 9Mil.
As for "hate crimes" that's always been ridiculous, I care more about whether or not a crime is committed, and how to prevent it, than to really give a shit about the motivation - cause in the end that matters damned little to the victim.
Oh, and FYI - while she would not admit it, one reason for Miss Malkins seemingly radical turnaround lately is that she got "a better offer" a'la Jaybe, to shill for a different side, is all.
You'd be a fool to lay any real trust in someone who's only loyalty is to who can shell out the best bribes, just sayin.

i've just been watching the Rachel Maddow show - (i heart her)...
There was a segment dealing with the seeming lack of cohesion of the McCain campaign as of late - advisors jumping ship - letting things slip to the press that probably shouldn't be and a general sense of disorganization, and it occurred to me - the Bush doctrine is working. Not the "screw you, we'll bomb who we want, any time we want" doctrine that sexy Sarah didn't know jack about, but the plan to dominate the world by spreading stupidity. It appears that we have dumbed down so much that it's hard to find anyone qualified to run a presidential campaign.
Glad i didn't drink that kool-aid....

At East TN's big annual GOP rally in the Knoxville colluseum, it looked empty despite free food, free bands and free TVs. Not even a single political speech to rally the troops. Just politicians shaking hands for 4 hours, most of whom abandoned ship after 1 hour to party with the hookers.
