Te more I read about it, the less convinving her story is. The police are now saying her story has changed, and is inconsistant. they have given her a lie-detector test, but I havn't seen the results.
But it just seems a little too convenient that this happened hours after McCain's campaign says, in PA, that violence will break out amongst Obama supporters if they loose. And then there's the black eye with no swelling of burst blood vessels in the eye. Setting aside the "B" being backwards (which seems like something one would do if looking in a mirror), it seems awfully neat to have been downe while holding down a struggling woman. And why wouldn't she seek medical attention, unless she didn't want the true nature of her injury exposed?

Racism CAN (as in maybe, might, could be) have a political side to it.
But, there are a lot of Republicans out there who are NOT racist. Just as there are a lot of democrats who ARE.
Political leanings vary and for a whole host of reasons.

Agree Storymark - there's a lotta if coming off this story... "happened outside the view of the bank's surveillance cameras" and like you say, no medical treatment to examine her wounds more closely. A backwards "B" - wtf?! - almost funny if the story wasn't so sad.
And they throw in some sexual assault almost as an after thought, "She also indicated she was sexually assaulted as well." Was that before or after she lost consciousness? This guy sure took his time and most atms aren't exactly hidden, this one's on a busy street.

For now, I'm going to assume that the woman was heinously attacked, and let the people involved sort out waht's true and what's not,
