So if I say that McCain is right when he says that Bush's ruinous policies have landed us in our current mess, but that he still agrees with those policies, does that mean I'm voting for McCain?

Obama just felt sorry for poor doddering old McCain. What's up with McCain never looking at Obama? When they shake hands McCain always pulls away first after a quick disacknowlegment smile. I wonder if he's afraid that if he looks at Obama too long he'll turn black too?

He's afraid if he looks at Obama too long, he'll have to adopt him - and having a black child is NOT something that's worked out well for McCain in the past!

Apparently I'm not the only one who noticed McCain's reluctance to gaze into the eyes of Obama. Maybe McCain was told Obama had swirly hypnotic eyes like that snake from the Jungle Book. Nora McDonald and Chris Mathews figure it's posturing that says "I don't even see you because I'm the only Commander in Chief here!"

But as far as Obama saying "I agree with John or Senator McCain", not "McCain is right"...McCain repeated points Obama made right after Obama made them several times. That's the same thing only denying Obama the courtesy, how unsporting.

I love the idea of McCain calling for bipartisanship, then they share a longing gaze, then a slow motion run towards each other with lovey dovely classical music playing. If they actualy did that I'd find a way to vote for both of them. That is so just what America could use right now, comic relief.

McCain lashed out at what he called the “USA’s lack of leadership” on dealing with the emergence of the IS group in Syria, saying America “should have seen what this movement is all about” before it established a strong territorial presence in Iraq and Syria.

The Arizona Senator, who lost the 2008 US presidential race to Barack Obama, was critical however of any move by the French towards an alliance with Russia in dealing with the IS group threat.
