or maybe TRM could open us a portal to the magical land of sunscreen? we could run in, roll about a bit and be covered for however long we want.

"Sunscreen? Not needed! As you can clearly see, this place is bathed in reddish light due to its K5 rated star, dimmer than that of the Sun of Earth-that-still-is. So it appears to be on the verge of sundown even though the sun is high in the sky. As a result, the world of Sundown does not receive large blasts of ultra-violet light that would cause sunburn.
"Also, of course, it means that this place is not as bright. If you were wanting to work on your tan, perhaps we should move to a different world."
TheRealMe pulls a hand flamer from his pack.
"As to starting a bonfire, STAND BACK!"
TheRealMe points the weapon at a nearby pile of logs and closes his eyes.
WHOOOSH!
Half of the beach is bathed in flames, luckily, it is the unoccupied half.
TheRealMe raises an eyebrow as he examines the hand flamer. "I suppose that I should put settings on this thing."

Meanwhile some Yeti and some of the Brides come through the dimensional portal in swimwear. Some have skis, others have surfboards.
The tiny Olympic synchronized flying team of faeries also come flying through the portal. They hover around Seryn. "Where's the baby?" They chorus.

Ah, there's nothing I like better than a little apres ski in... well, apparently a glorious beach. Yetis, I suggest you put up parasols to shield yourself from the sun, I think your coats might be a bit thick for this heat.
*rolls out a beach towel and relaxes by reading the paper*
"Fairy child taken into care, drunken mother in custody"... whoops. This is tomorrow's paper.

Wow. That's impressive. I don't think I have enough supplies for that many smores! Still, it's very pretty and makes the beach a bit brighter.
