I just saw Dr. Horrible for the first time. IT WAS AWESOME! I'd never have thought that I'd actually like Neil Patrick Harris in anything, but he fits the part so amazingly well. I'd never even heard of Felicia Day before, but she is so sweet and charming, a true beauty. And of course, the winner is Mal, I mean, Captain Hammer. Is he hilarious or what? When he first appeared, I laughed so hard that I had to watch the scene again. Twice. Nathan Fillion is so good at playing this narcissist prick, you almost can't believe he might even be a decent guy in real life.

Conclusion: This show is priceless and I hope so much that it will continue...

EDIT: MY favourite line: [cracking voice]Captain Hammer threw a car at my head![/cracking voice]

Surprised you didn't know of Felicia Day as she's been in the Jossverse for awhile. As Vi, potential slayer, in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and now in Dr. Horrible. She also wrote, produced and stars in "The Guild" on the web. Catch that at watchtheguild.com or on the Guild channel on Youtube.com. She's been in several movies, tv series, appearing in the 2nd episode of the new season of "House", and cable specials. There is also a strange little Youtube vid named "My Best Guess" which is quite amusing.

No definite word on another episode of Dr. Horrible. There is to be a sound track CD coming soon and a DVD later. The DVD is to have, among other things, a musical commentary.

I mostly remember her from the Post Office commercials... "Yo, Angie! You goin' to th' post office?" :) They were out around the time I first watched Buffy, so I always think of her as "Yo, Angie!"

Well, I've been somewhat of an inconsistent Buffy watcher. And being from Germany, I don't get all the buzz about many shows. Which is why I just saw Dr. Horrible for the first time. But thanks for the suggestions, I'll certainly give these a look.

Does Dr. Horrible resemble Dr. Steel in anyone else's eyes?

Nope, I thought there was a resemblance to Dr. Frankenstein though.

Have you seen r. Steel on the internet? There seem to be a lot of similarities to me. Dr. Steel I think is set for a different demographic, but in many ways is similar imho.

He reminded me of Dr. Morlo, from Impulse.

(Morlo was a [retconned] Silver-Age supervillain and the arch-nemesis of Max Mercury. Now, he and Max are both retired and live down the street from each other. They frequently get together to talk about old times and lament the sad state of supervillainy/superheroics nowadays. In fact, Morlo is an actual MD, and serves as Max's doctor [since, really, he knows more about Max's abilities and weaknesses than just about anyone else].)
