I'll belive what I read in MAD Magazine before I belive anything in the NY Times. They're the liars who said McCain had an affair with a lobbiest, and ended up looking like ass holes when McCain denied it, and they could'nt prove it.

Hmmm... Not a peep from Jongsstraw about McLame's $520 shoes. He sure was scandalized by a $400 haircut.

I can't help the sinking feeling that my country is now being run by people who read "1984" not as a cautionary tale, but rather as an instruction manual. - Michael Mock

Although it should be noted that senior McLame staff made it a point to get that broad the hell away from him, just in case he might slip and fall on top of her with his pants down...

Quote:It does'nt matter what McCain pays for his hair cut because he can't comb it. When he bailed out after being hit with a S.A.M. mistle, both his arms where broke. The V.C. did'nt set them rite, and rebroke them when they were beating the shit out of him, so why can't he comb his own hair? He can't lift his arms above his shoulds. I do'nt give a rats ass what he pays for his shoes!

Yep. Apparently it's a sin to be successful...if you're a Republican.

Hey, you guys sure seemed to have a problem with Edwards being successful.
And you've gone on and on and on about the "elitist" Obama, when it's McLame who went to private military school, owns ten homes, etc.
If you don't give a rat's ass what he pays for his shoes, shut the fuck up about what anyone else pays for ANYTHING!

Apparently, it's only a sin to be successful if you're a Democrat. At least, according to your post.

I don't consider it a sin for anyone to be successful, as long as they get there legally and morally, and I'm not really sure how you could assume anything else from my post. Perhaps you'd care to enlighten me.
Pretty much anyone who want's to make it in national politics nowadays has to have a pretty good personal bankroll, so are all politicians elitist?

This is not the 'you guys' you're looking for. I don't have a problem with Edwards being successful, just with the manner (product liability lawyer) he got his bucks. I've never said anything disparaging about Sen. Obama's success, political or financial, or called him elitist, although I don't agree with his policies. I also have the consideration to spell their names correctly, and not be insulting.
