Not really being a Buffy fan, I've only recently been aware of Alyson Hannigan a few weeks ago when American Pie was on TV. Are any of her other characters as geeky as Michelle? Really love that geek girl thing...

Having not seen American Pie I'm not competent to do a comparison. But Willow is certainly a geek type character. Especially in the first few seasons (of Buffy the Vampire Slayer) where her facility with computers and social awkwardness were defining characteristics. I suggest giving a view might not be amiss.

Oh my. Basically, the "band camp" girl in American Pie was patterned after Alyson's Willow character on Buffy, as far as I can see.

You REALLY need to see some Buffy. Geeky Alyson? You got it. Smoking hot Alyson as an evil vampire dominatrix? Check. Cool Alyson who's still geeky? Bingo.

I can't say more; it would be telling. ;)
