Sorry NV I'm not Zee-Bug but I just stopped by to say hi anyway. I've moved and gotten a new job. Woot job #15 (I think) in just under five years. I'm liking it so far. However I live out in the boondocks and have a generator for electricity so I only have a few minutes here at work to type at my lovely internet buddies.

You're coming this way? Are you insain? It's 115 degrees in Redding(the nearest town to here anyone has ever heard of) today I think. Also the whole damn state is on fire. Although if you really are that's great. When it's not too smokey to see 100 feet in front of you it's really quite breath taking here. Hahaha breath taking, my poor smoke filled lungs.

On a happier note I have the most increadable mountian view on my commute to and from work. 18 miles of trees and mountains. There is almost no traffic save the occasional slow as molasses logging truck.

FMF- it's likely they don't post a picture because they are insecure or they don't own any pics without their wife...
Oooh nails taking a beating...well at least you can paint your toenails ( oh quick opinion is sparkly polish too much on toes??)

Ok all my muscles hurt right now. I took yesterday off sick and paid for it big time as the kid ( ok he's 19 but with a 2 year old's mind) was out of control today and I lost count of the number of hits he tried ( succeeded at a fair few as well)

Anyway...only one week and one day left with this kid ( and may I say all my best wishes and thoughts to his mom who manages him all day every day)

Spaceanjl must've found room for all her books because she's got enough elbow room to poke Zeek.

I'm still exhausted and over-scheduled but coping. Work is a little less frantic, but our dept. lead is leaving in a few weeks and I will be taking over. It doesn't look like they will be hiring someone for my position, so I will have to manage a slightly reduced load of my own, plus the person's who is leaving. Yeah. or not.

My horse is healing...which means I have to ride him at the walk for 45 minutes every.damn.day. It's boring to say the least. But I suppose boring is good...because the opposite would be no fun at all.

The other horse, Mr. I Broke My Leg, is back jumping up to 2'9" and is almost ready to show. That will be nice.

And that's my life. Work. gym. ride. Every day. I'm lucky if I get home by 8:30 at night. Makes for very little life as I have to try to get to sleep before 10 if I want to be a decent person for work at 7 am. I'm hoping that September brings the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel. I can hold 'til then.
