I saw the title of this thread, rolled my eyes and figured that chisisall must be at it again....
Personally I'm kicking myself for deciding to save money by not planning to attend Comic Con because we now know that Joss will be doing a panel on Friday (Dark Horse and Doctor Horrible, with Nathan and ALL the cast on stage with him) and on Saturday the Dollhouse panel w/Eliza Dusku!

But I am happy that I'm planning on going to the Creation convention where I'll get to meet Jewell & Ron (and get to see Adam Baldwin again)

Well, after a while the obsession goes away and becomes an occasional thing. Myself I haven't watched it (show or movie) in 4 years? But still love the characters. We move on, but I keep coming back here to read threads like these, and updates (if any)

You had me going there for a minute. Good one.
But I would think that you're in the normal category with the number of viewings you mentioned. How many times have I seen Singing in The Rain or Some Like It Hot, Predator, The Matrix and now FF and Serenity.
It's not just entertainment for me. These movies are just plain fun, with a great story to tell. So Firefly and Serenity are just that - great and wonderfully told stories. It reminds me of when I was a kid telling ghost stories with all the lights off and getting the bajeezes scared outta ya'.

That was just luck. A simple dream come true. I kept saying I wanted to be a part of it. Even getting the camera guy coffee. Then the opportunity came and was lucky enough to get a spot.
