Really, those are pretty weak. He's not taking the crown from Bush any time soon, and regardless of how much you might not like the man or his party or his principles, you should at least be wise enough to attack him where you guys are strong...

if there is an area where you are.

the 57 states gaff? Sounds like he meant to say 47...(this really is the best one you've got, and I'll give you that he didn't catch that he misspoke, but it's still a lame attempt)

Saying Tim instead of who ever that reporter really was? Getting lost a couple times in town halls, saying breathalizer and realizing it and then, low and behold, using a more appropriate term...

Rivals Bush? Even Mccain? give me a fucking break. You shouldn't be treading in territory where Obama is far superior to the other side's candidates - talking to the people is not their forte, same with representing the people.

the obama gaffes are on par with the vetoing beer gaffe...mistatements taht I'm willing to let slide...he realized he goofed when he said beer.

the "that's not so important line" in context just reinforces his "hundred years" comment from earlier - these aren't gaffes, these are statements about what Mccain thinks about our presence in Iraq -- how he doesn't get the commitment he's talking about demanding from our soldiers,

and how he doesn't get that there's no such thing as being an army at peace without casualties in a region that will never begin to heal its relationship with us while we still occupy it.

I'm sure we could put together only about 14 million such gaffes from Bush. That idiot is the Rosetta Stone of gaffes!

Who can remember such classics as "working hard to put food on your family", "OB/GYNs need to be free to practice their...love", "musta misunderestimated" and countless thousands of others.

My favorite: "Quit talking to me about the Constitution - it's just a goddam piece of paper!"

Now THAT is a gaffe. If you're gonna go down, go down in flames, full-throttle, kamikaze style.

yeahh - kind of a necro-post, but I'd like you (or anyone, for that matter) to provide a solid reference for the quote about the Constitution - not some third-hand nonsense from some hack "journalist" quoting "unnamed insiders".
