Well, now I can stop calling you "whoever you are," so, thanks for explaining. As for calling Blu-ray discs, DVDs, correct me if I'm wrong, but, aren't the two, mutually exclusive formats?

You are correct. Blu-ray is the next disc technology. DVD is a different disc format.
I know, I mixed them up.... hey, I'm old ;-)

Thanks for clearing that up, I've been wondering what makes them different, since hearing about Blu-ray. from all of the reviews I've read, it would seem that the reviewers can't tell the difference in quality. Which leads me to ask WHY CAN'T Fox re-release Firefly on DVD, with added bonuses???

Who's this Josh fella?

I mean Joss. I keep wanting to spell out Josh instead of Joss.

Speaking of Joss, I believe there is a recording of him singing the title song, that would be great to have on the extras to.
In regards to how to get all the cast together or a least a few of them, they do conventions now and then, so if you went along maybe you could do a recording with them. An idea would be to make it part of the event so you have a bunch of browncoats as an audience while the actors talk about the particular episode. Win, win, kind of thing. Plus if I was in attendance I could do a loud whistle and have a claim to fame with that.

Thanks for explaining who you are, Ani.
But I am still curious about this:

Fox is planning to release Serenity on Blu-Ray?
As for the special features I would like to see: the broadcast openings with the Mal and Book narrations, the production webvids/interviews that were on the original F*X Firefly website, the original cut of the episode "Serenity", and I always thought the scene where Rebecca Gayheart played Inara would be interesting to see.

Do you mean the one that's on the current release or is there another one?

Not likely but it would be nice.

Ani,
Joss is boss. It's really important to get his name right since its a pet peeve among fans.
For the panel I would recommend maybe showing up to a convention and getting some time for the interview. If they are there already getting them to do a commentary would be easier.
You don't need all, but a combination of some for an episode would be great. The cast has a great rapport. They are friends and know how to have fun.
