I don't think I would classify Bush as a Good President but I would also not say that he was the worst by a long shot. I would say he is mediocre.
But I digress you wanted something good about him.
Bush came out in favor of private retirement accounts. According to the latest Zogby poll, by Cato, 68% of the public support the idea.
(public support in and of itself is not a measure of goodness though. Just saying it is popular.)

Yeah, because there's a whole hell of a lot he could have done, down in Florida, to stop those planes ( up in Boston, NYC , etc... .) from being hijacked and crashing into the WTC, Pentagon, or a field in Pennsylvania.
You're right, he should have IMMEDIATELY raised his voice, shook his fist in anger and stormed out of the classroom. THAT would have shown those mean terrorist who's boss!
And the reason he couldn't have immediately gone out of the classroom to ATTEMPT to do something constructive was...?

The good thing about W's presidency? He got a whole lotta people interested in politics and the government. Folks like me needed to see what can happen when the system is taken over by greedy, power-hungry authoritarian types.
