How many Fox haters will not watch Joss's new Fox show?

Strangely enough Earl is made by 20th Century Fox.
And Eliza's deal is with 20th Century Fox and not Fox broadcasting. The show didn't have to go to Fox network (lots of 20th shows aren't on Fox), but they jumped at it as soon as they heard the name Joss Whedon. They desperately want to work with him again.
20th shows not on Fox: The Unit, How I Met Your Mother, Boston Legal, My Name is Earl, Women's Murder Club, etc.

I stand corrected.
Musta mixed it up in me head. Apparently it's the guy who got Reilly's job after NBC gave him the shaft (which sorta turned out okay for him.
). Question still stands, though - should we try our luck with Reilly?

If Dollhouse does well, I don't think anyone is going to have to bring it up with Reilly. If Dollhouse is a hit, they will be asking Joss what he wants to do. If he wants to do Firefly, then they will probably let him.
Success is what will open this door, not a fan email campaign.
Just watch Dollhouse and get all your friends to do the same.

Bingo. I hate Fox for what they did to Joss & Firefly, but too many of my favorite shows are on Fox for me to boycott them. Bones, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, the Sarah Connorcles, etc. Why would I miss out on Dollhouse? Just because it *might* get cancelled? Here's an idea for the Fox-haters to try: Try NOT watching it, and see if THAT gets it renewed for another couple seasons. :(
Also, don't confuse Fox Television with Fox News. They seem to be two completely different entities. Hell, the Simpsons and Family Guy constantly make fun of Fox News, almost as much as the rest of us do!

Holding grudges is bad for business, and we do have to do business with Fox.
If one or two players in a football team screw up and lose, do you blame and badmouth the whole team, even after the screw-ups left? We all just wanna enjoy the game, don't we? 
I liked hating Fox, too, but it's been 6 gorram years since they cancelled FF. Get over it and shake hands.

So, will anyone be watching Joss's new show at Fox? Or will you allow a grudge to get in the way of Joss making a living? I have no sympathy for Joss. If he hasn't put enough in the bank to "make a living" by now, than he needs to rethink his priorities and put down the crack pipe and send the Elliot Spitzer girls on their way.
More importantly, if FOX has been so bad for Joss, why does he continue to work for them? He's not the guy getting screwed. It's the fans of his work. Obviously they don't think too negatively about his work either, or they wouldn't be asking him to do another show for them, do you think?
Fox has made horrible decision after horrible decision and honestly I can't believe that any of them are still employed. I'm just glad that somehow Comedy Central got the ability to bring back Futurerama and there is serious talks of an Arrested Development movie.
I really loved, by the way, the knockout blow that Futurerama gave FOX within the first 2 1/2 minutes of "Bender's Big Score" a few weeks back. One of the funniest bits I've seen on TV in a long time. Check it out.... don't know how long it'll be up on YouTube before somebody with the rights (not the artist) yanks it:

I still watch FOX shows.... but it's a few days after it airs on FOX when I can download it for free with the commercials cut out. With today's technology it's more than just possible to boycott a company like FOX without inconveniencing yourself, it's your duty.

You're absolutely right -- if you and all of your friends have Neilsen meters installed. For everyone else, email and snail mail are effective methods of letting the network know you exist and you're watching.

I'm not buying anymore dvds, no more Joss comic books, no tee shirts,, nothing.. I won't watch FOX or DollHouse.... I think this will put more pressure on the Alliance and its traitor
