On a positive note, Fox DID renew The Sarah Connor Chronicles, so maybe there's hope. And we'll be seeing more of Summer because of it, which is always a good thing.

As weird as this may sound, I think American Idol had something to do with it. Now that FOX is the No. 1 network, they've been taking a bit more risk with their programming with great success in series like House, Bones, and now The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Don't think it's a matter of how many will watch, more like how long will they let you.

I have a passion for Firefly and Serenity, but I'm not a Joss "kool-aid" drinker, (If you get my meaning?) Never cared for Buffy or Angel, or Dollhouse. So I guess I'm just one dimensional. Just cannot see the Joss fixation or fetish where women are portrayed as ass kickers when few are in real life (Buffy, Zoe etc). Speaking as an active US Army combat soldier(20 years in). Now if he could resurrect the Firefly franchise well.... then that's different. IMHO

And in regards to the possible Dollhouse success = Firefly reboot (which has also occurred to me and I'm hopeful for, though not sure how likely it is)... If it happened, it could happen in summer, instead of the usual television season. I think all the regular heroes would be available then...

Hey, I can dream, can't I? :)

EDIT: You know, it's kind of odd how the slated A Shepherd's Tale has all a sudden developed a case of the ambiguous release date... It also occurs to me, that a death-bed reminiscence of the Shepherd about meeting the crew and some of his other secrets would be a very impressive, dramatic way to reintroduce the series and the events of the movie to a new audience...

I am not exactly fond of Fox (they angered me when they cancelled Tru Calling near the beginning of Season 2), but I will still watch Dollhouse. I also watch Terminator. If they cancel Dollhouse and Terminator too early though, that will be an awful lot to take.
