How many Fox haters will not watch Joss's new Fox show?

Huh. My mistake. Must have been the way the guy worded it. Swear it said the guy commented that He was on the news(Fox) rather than what was on the news(Fox). Still I'm sure the guy had about as much to do with canceling Firefly than he would if he worked at CNN.
Either way I'm giving Dollhouse a shot. Devil Spawned Fox network or not.

Apparently the guy doing all the tv shows for Fox is new. The interviewer mentions that he's only been doing it for a year.

When the F*X deal on Dollhouse was first announced, I was among the die-hard, venomous F*X-haters who were appalled that Joss had "sold out."
Then, cooler heads carefully explained that this is a way for Joss to get more exposure, mebbe recover whatever cachet he had with F*X, before the long-since-gone bungers who killed our gorram show decided they didn't like him, anymore.
So, yeah, Dollhouse sounds like a cool concept, it's Joss, and, for those two reasons, I'll watch it. The third reason is that Joss has a guaranteed, eyes-open 7 show deal, win or lose, which means, this time, gorramit, he'll get to tell as much of his story as he can in those 7 eps. Of course, he'll leave lots of room for more, in case, in direct contradiction with past history, F*X has grown some brain cells, and doesn't kill the show.
And, reason four... F*X holds the rights to Firefly. Mebbe, just mebbe, they'll decide they like Joss well enough to give him some more time to play in the 'Verse. Might not be with all our original BDHs, given that they've been pretty busy doing other things, but, ya never know. But, for that, I'll give Dollhouse a shot.
F*X, I still wouldn't trust any further than I could pitch 'em. Out an airlock.

Hm, if there's a new guy in charge at Fox, maybe we should make nice with him - find out what he likes, get a little united Browncoat campaign going and politely suggest bringing Firefly back just might be a shiny idea?

Did some quick research on the man, and I'm quite impressed. He seems like a cool guy who knows something good when he sees it and carries the torch no matter what.
So am I totally off by suggesting we show him some Browncoat love, or should we give it a shot? I'm in the mood for some Browncoat action!

I'm sorry if I missed similar proposals, seeing that he changed to Fox in July '07, a time where I admittedly was shamefully absent from this board, and Flandom in general.
Edit: Hey, it just clicked - he's the guy who re-introduces the audience to "My name is Earl" in the beginning of the first episode after the writers' strike! I'm starting to dig the man.

No. The guy who introduced Earl was Zuckerman. He is a complete tool by all reports. Reilly used to be the head of programming for NBC. They fired him last year around this time and now he is at Fox.
Strangely enough Earl is made by 20th Century Fox.
And Eliza's deal is with 20th Century Fox and not Fox broadcasting. The show didn't have to go to Fox network (lots of 20th shows aren't on Fox), but they jumped at it as soon as they heard the name Joss Whedon. They desperately want to work with him again.
20th shows not on Fox: The Unit, How I Met Your Mother, Boston Legal, My Name is Earl, Women's Murder Club, etc.
