At that moment, Smythe walked into the room.
"Aha," he said. "I thought I heard a new voice. I'm Larry, the pilot. You can call me... uh... Larry. LT here calls me Smythe. Works for me either way."
"If you need a hand.. or if you're planning on fixing the buffer," he said that last bit hopefully, "then come and talk to me. I'll be in the cockpit."
As quickly as he'd come, he disappeared again.

Bible's broken, contradictions, false logics, doesn't make sense, the entire thing is fallacious, unless you consider most of its passages inexplicable phenomenon. Even if you are rising from the ashes Independence might mean more to you than anything else, literally and metaphorically. War creates chaos and God requires order, man creates war for God, thus creating chaos for a leader who needs order, rendering the entire cycle pointless...
Dashile stops. She looks up to where Larry was and just as quickly he was gone, turning to LT,
"I suppose I should go talk to him about the buffer before he gets too far."
