I guess all the cool kids hate Fox with a burning passion and would never ever ever ever ever ever have anything to do with Fox ever ever ever ever again.

So, will anyone be watching Joss's new show at Fox? Or will you allow a grudge to get in the way of Joss making a living? If Joss's new show fails because browncoats won't watch a Fox show, won't this be sending a signal to Fox that Joss Whedon just cannot make a show that people will watch and they were right not to give Firefly more time?

Joss has gotten over it, shouldn't you?

I think a lot of that hate-Fox stuff is over. Sarah Connor Chronicles was on Fox, and lots of 'coats watched it.

Fox has a lot of great shows. If some want to take their Fox-ogeny to the grave that's fine with me, but I don't see the point.

It's not over for some people...

As for me, I've learned to arrange myself with people I don't like, for mutual benefit. Besides, the people who cancelled Fox no longer work there, so what's the point.
If they're good enough for Joss, they're good enough for me.

Yeah, that was what prompted this thread. Some people would rather curse the damn dark.

I'll watch it. But you're kidding yourself if you think it's lasting on Fox for more than 2 seasons.

Something like 75% of all new shows are canceled their first year, regardless of the network.

I have, for the most part, let go of my grudge. Mainly because I'm finding that the movies I like are produced by Fox. That and Bones is still produced by Fox. Miracle of miracles.

There's no point in hating Fox. The best thing to do is not fall too hard for any show ever again. It's TV. It's not a relationship or a marriage, after all. Watch the show, support The Almighty Joss, but don't be surprised if Fox changes its mind. It's a network. Networks are about money and ratings, not show love.

I called off my boycott of Fox to watch the Sarah Connor Chronicles to support Summer. I did the same to support Nathan and Tim Minear. I will support Joss and watch his new show as well.

Other than that, Fox can go hang.

After a few years of being a bitter fan, (yes, Obama, I'm bitter LOL!) I find it too exhausting. Well, OK. I'll never go anywhere near Fox "news" but that's different. If there's something decent on the regular network, I'll watch it. I'll sure as hell watch Dollhouse. Why punish myownself by skipping out on precious Joss entertainment?

I never felt I needed to ban fox, I just don't care for most everything on there. The only show I do absolutely ban is American Idol, and pretty much any reality show on the major networks. That is what I really blame for these new shows not getting a chance. How can the compete with the easy money from a reality show.

Thank Universal for airing Firefly in HD at
