Larry took the hand and shook it firmly.
"Sure thing boss. Don't mind if I do."
Letting go of Shepard's hand, he looked around at the vessel he'd be piloting. It was a little old, but easily better than the Gurtsler-driven junk heap he'd been flying only weeks before. How he'd managed to get out of that mess he still wasn't totally clear on.
"Pretty shiny ship you got here.. I'll do my best to keep her that way," he said with a wry grin.
Shepard didn't return the gesture, but that was of little consequence to Smythe. He shrugged happily and wandered off in the direction of the bridge.
