6,581,981 (6,570,148) votes have been counted as of 04/07/08. Yesterday, 11,833 (10,987) votes were cast. In order to take ownership of 10% of all votes cast in that period, we needed to vote 1,184 (1,099) times, of which we fell short by 190 votes. Our share fell to 9.2875389% (9.2891367%) of all votes ever cast. Our share of the voting pie remains at 9%.
In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly and the Whedonverse, so, let's return the favor, shall we?):
#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 524 (539) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 257 (251) votes, yesterday, in 115.39 (107.9) days. BSG is also in pursuit of the 5th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 7,904 (8,428) votes, and, 15.08 (15.64) days, away!
#7 show Buffy got 564 (506) votes, yesterday. Currently, Buffy is receiving enough votes to pass #6 show Farscape, which received 346 (311) votes, yesterday, in 62.74 (71.26) days. Buffy is also in pursuit of the 6th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 35,204 (35,768) votes, and, 62.42 (70.69) days, away, while Farscape 62.22 (70.33) days from getting there, first.
Buffy's still neck-and-neck with Farscape in the Hall of Fame race! It doesn't get much closer than this!
#10 show Angel got 500 (496) votes, yesterday. Angel is currently receiving enough votes to pass #9 show Combat!, which received 346 (303) votes, yesterday, in 55.77 (45.3) days (#11 show Jericho got 596 (591) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to pass Angel in 6.76 (7.84) days).
