Well, assuming that you're drinking tea because of a sore throat, I don't think that would help much. Tea helps your throat because it goes down your throat, and your throat gets into direct contact with the heat of the tea, which is what makes it help. If you feed yourself tea intravenously, it would probably hurt (if it was still hot), and you'd just get the nutrients out of the tea.
