Vumping on the Surface of things... just ate a cinnistick in secret (was sneaking it) 'cause I was hungry but my parents won't let me eat.
That's one of the things that annoys me about them- when I get home from school, I'm pretty hungry because the school has crappy lunches and I get home 5 hours after it anyway, but they almost always have something "almost planned.... we'll eat later, but not now", but later is another couple of hours later, and I'm starving all that time, and then they finally decide that they're hungry, and then they futz around trying to decide what to eat, and then either one of them cooks something nasty which they know I'm not going to eat, but they get really pissed off if I try to suggest eating something else, or at least letting me eat something that I'll actually enjoy, and they get annoyed whenever I give up trying to shove nasty stuff down my throat , and then I end up being hungry all night.... Well, I know it keeps me skinny at least, but I tend to not like being hungry for long stretches of time....

Leopard (a little "unasked for" advice)- You need to sit your folks down and discuss this issue.
It is probably NOT their intention to starve you, but merely to maintain a disciplined structure in your house where meals are eaten on time and everyone is not full on snacks. It is a reasonable assumtion that they are completely unaware of how hard this is on you.
If you explain that you get too little quality food at school, and that when you get home that you (like my daughter) require some more food before dinner time comes around, AND that you would be perfectly happy to eat something healthy like fruits or whatever they think is appropriate. They will (more than likely) find some accomadation of your needs. Furthermore, they will respect you for discussing this in such a mature way.
Trust me on this (it's what I do besides vote LOLOL) and do give it a try. Let me know how it goes, and if you require further advice, I'll be right here for you. - Jstn (Nimster and shrink at large)

Well, I'd understand the reason that you explained except they never did that before we moved out here (like two years ago), and this doesn't happen every night, just most nights... actually, this only happens when I actually bother to ask if I can eat, and they've been yelling at me for not asking them permission to eat lately so I've been asking every night like a week now... and if I tried to tell them about school food, they would interupt me and say "Well, you need to eat more anyway], or shall we make you a sack lunch every day?" Umm, sack lunches are totally stupid, we often don't have any food in the house anyway because Dad can't be bothered to buy actual food when he goes grocery shopping (I think he just doesn't know how. And I never go with him because we live in the middle of nowhere, and he goes by himself because his work is near the next-closest town, and he'll shop after work, and never get any food at all, just milk for their coffee and whatever he feels like.)
And besides, they snack whenever they want, they just put me on hold if they feel like they might want a "family meal".
Also, "talk to them" and "my parents" don't safely go together in the same sentence.
Feel free to ignore all that, this was originally a vomp for the Doe but I think i got a little too carried away with my responce.
