Manual mornin' stats VOMP!
[Surface nom!]
http://richlabonte.net/tvvote
http://www.richlabonte.net/tvvote
http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/index.html
ALL three links work for voting, so if you have trouble getting into the site in heavy traffic you can try an alternate address instead. I recommend bookmarking them all, for rapid transition, if you have trouble voting.
You can only nominate one show per hour, at:
http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/nominations.html
Voting efficiently (i.e., with minimal time between votes, over the requisite 60 minutes) is crucial to maximizing your voting power. Download FlyVote by FlyVote (a fellow Browncoat voter, so, you know the program is good!). It'll remind you when it's time to vote, each hour: http://usbmicro.com/misc
This is a NEW version of the program, with new features, including buttons to all three "portals" to the voting page, in case one isn't working, or is overloaded, as well as a button to reset the timer, for those occasions when it gets out of sync, because you don't minimize it immediately after voting. Simply hit the reset and then minimize and you are back on a 1 hour schedule. Download it to replace the older version.
Top two shows as of this morning:
(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)
Total votes Firefly: 607,416 (606,407)
Total votes Xena: 490,181 (489,555)
Yesterday, Browncoats voted 1,009 (1,095) times.
Yesterday, Xenites voted 626 (516) times.
(Xenites voted 383 (579) times less than Browncoats, yesterday.
Yesterday, Browncoat votes fell by 86; Xenite votes rose by 110.
Firefly is 117,235 (116,852) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #23 show Star Trek: The Original Series 114,029. That puts us at 7,765 (8,148) votes away from a 125k vote lead, about 20.27 (14.07) days!
We'll get our next banner, for 610,000 votes, in another 2,584 (3,593) votes, and, 2.56 (3.28) days!
Our next, big goal, 625,000 votes, is 17,584 (18,593) votes, and, 17.43 (16.98) days away!
6,534,310 (6,521,572) votes have been counted as of 04/03/08. Yesterday, 12,738 (12,911) votes were cast. In order to take ownership of 10% of all votes cast in that period, we needed to vote 1,274 (1,292) times, of which we fell short by 265 votes. Our share fell to 9.2957943% (9.298479%) of all votes ever cast. Our share of the voting pie remains at 9%.
In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly and the Whedonverse, so, let's return the favor, shall we?):
#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 530 (550) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 309 (286) votes, yesterday, in 144.01 (121.4) days. BSG is also in pursuit of the 5th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 10,061 (10,591) votes, and, 18.98 (19.26) days, away!

Buffy's fallen behind in the Hall of Fame race, but not by much!

VOMP (Surface) x 2
Got to go out a lot on business today (Dr and more), so I'm bound to be missing votes.
Apologies to those who's shows I usually support for any 'shortages" that may occur. I'll be back on a regular schedule tomorrow. I'll try to compensate over the next couple of days.
Don't like letting my friends here down.
FT - Sorry to hear about your tire. Man, it sounds like things got a lot more complicated with bikes since I was a kid. Back then if my bike broke, I'd jst hop on the nearest dinosaur. LOLOL
Back soon with the "Report"
Reposted from last night on the previous thread:
IMPORTANT !
Jst checked back, and John Doe got 23 Noms in the last two days, so it should pass 1000 by Monday mornings stats, about the time Surface is due to pass Lost (the show who's high ratings hurt Surface by comparison, that season, and so a personal "marker")
