This is me
laughing at you.
He's a politician, and lying, cheating and stealing is HIS JOB.
So, really, either way you look at it, he's incompetent, isn't he ?
Seriously, do you actually BELIEVE that stuff you're shovelling ?
Cause I assure you, if you are, something I highly doubt, then you're probably the only one.

All politicians lie, so that makes him incompetent ? Compared to who ? OTHER politicians who lie ? You logic is faulty.
That you can't cite a single example of Bush lying is proof enough that you have no clue of what you speak. You're simply a parrot for the Left wing, Hate America 1st cause, and not much more.

Your problem is that you are so wrapped up in defending the indefensible, that you don't even recognize a baited mousetrap when you see one.

Bush didn't lie per Iraq. Get over it.

That's an outright lie, and you're a liar just like your hero Bush. Bush KNEW - because he had been told reapeatedly - that when he gave the State of the Union Address in 2003 that he was lying. Time after time, intel officers had removed the claim about Saddam trying to buy yellow cake uranium from Niger, and time after time, Bush and his people kept right on insisting that it was so.
Also, Bush flat-out lied when he claimed that if anyone in HIS Administration had had anything to do with outing Valerie Plame as a covert CIA operative, that they would be fired. That was a lie. Instead of firing Karl Rove, Dickless Cheney, and Scooter Libby, he obfuscated, covered up, dissembled, outright lied, and then pardoned Libby when he was convicted.
He's a liar. And by maintaining your position that he's not, YOU'RE a liar as well.

I love that - anyone who disagrees or points out lies and fallacies now officially hates America.
Awwcrapper, you and your beloved Bush Administration are nothing more than fascists, thugs who'd love nothing more than to imprison or kill anyone in this country who cares enough about it and the Constitution to call "Bullshit" on your petty little antics. Any time anyone calls you on your bullshit, your first, last, and only recompense is to denounce them as un-American.
As I've said before, how very fucking *American* of you. Or do you guys prefer to spell "America" with a "K" or three...
"Welcome to Bush's AmeriKKKa - now sit down, shut up, and don't ask questions!"
Go back to sucking the poop right out of Bush's butt.

Dancing shoes not required.
First of all, that's after the fact of going into Iraq, so that's not a 'lie' which got us to war.
Secondly, you haven't shown where Bush KNEW prior to the statement being made that the claim was false.
Third, at the bery worst, that might be a false claim, but not intentionally so. We have found many materials which Iraq had no business having. It's not 'FOX NEWS' , but spin it away as you feel fit.
Quote:
The Iraq Survey Group, ISG, whose intelligence analysts are managed by Charles Duelfer, a former State Department official and deputy chief of the U.N.-led arms-inspection teams, has found "hundreds of cases of activities that were prohibited" under U.N. Security Council resolutions, a senior administration official tells Insight.
"There is a long list of charges made by the U.S. that have been confirmed, but none of this seems to mean anything because the weapons that were unaccounted for by the United Nations remain unaccounted for."
Both Duelfer and his predecessor, David Kay, reported to Congress that the evidence they had found on the ground in Iraq showed Saddam's regime was in "material violation" of U.N. Security Council Resolution 1441, the last of 17 resolutions that promised "serious consequences" if Iraq did not make a complete disclosure of its weapons programs and dismantle them in a verifiable manner.
The United States cited Iraq's refusal to comply with these demands as *one justification for going to war.

But not the full reasons for the war.
I still await your answer.

Your indignation aside, Bush never lied us into war. Bush was told it was a 'slam dunk' by his CIA director ( a Clinton appointee, btw ) that Iraq had WMD. Bush, still wanting MORE confirmation, went the extra mile and relied on as many sources as he could.
The Brits still stand by the claims that Iraq was hoping to get some Yellow Cake uranium from Niger - That Joe Wilson lie has been debunked. Bush correctly stated it was BRITISH intel, not U.S. , that said Iraqi officials had visited Niger. Bush was correct.
The Val Plame issue is irrelevent, as it was Richard Armitage, not Cheney, Rove or Libby who was the source. And get your facts straight, Libby wasn't "pardoned" . His prison sentence was commuted. The conviction remains on Libby's record and he must still pay a $250,000 fine. He will be on probation for two years.
kwickie, you've been served.

Pretty sure I said exactly what I meant. Maybe you should brush up on your vocabulary a bit - I think you've confused fascism with socialism and communism. Here, let me help...
From the Webster's Dictionary:
Quote:
Main Entry:
fas•cism
Pronunciation:
\ˈfa-ˌshi-zəm also ˈfa-ˌsi-\
Function:
noun
Etymology:
Italian fascismo, from fascio bundle, fasces, group, from Latin fascis bundle & fasces fasces
Date:
1921
1. a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
2: a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control
Also, to see if your current government exhibits any of the traits of a fascist regime, follow this handy checklist:
Quote:
Fourteen Defining
Characteristics Of Fascism
By Dr. Lawrence Britt
Dr. Lawrence Britt has examined the fascist regimes of Hitler (Germany), Mussolini (Italy), Franco (Spain), Suharto (Indonesia) and several Latin American regimes. Britt found 14 defining characteristics common to each:
1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism - Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.
- Check.
2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights - Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.
- Check
3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.
- Check
4. Supremacy of the Military - Even when there are widespread
domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.
- Check
5. Rampant Sexism - The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed.
- Not there yet, but give the Supreme Court just ONE MORE Bush appointee, and this should be a done deal.
6. Controlled Mass Media - Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.
- Check
7. Obsession with National Security - Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.
- Check
8. Religion and Government are Intertwined - Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.
- Check
9. Corporate Power is Protected - The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.
