I just read the results of an old poll on here, about who should be the president of the U.S. (in '04), and most people voted for Bush?
I'm kind of baffled because I thought people on here were - in lack of a better word - smarter than that.
Defend yourselves and your vile Alliance sympathies!

It was a goofy poll, where folks could vote as often as they wished, if I recall correctly.

And don't forget, John F. Kerry was the other choice.

I was pushing for Dean, but when he bent over the sawhorse for the Dem Leadership after they intentionally sandbagged him, one of their own, for not "playing ball" - I left him to the inglorious fate he so richly deserved for being gutless when it counted.

I didn't vote FOR Kerry, I voted AGAINST Bush.

His Senate vote against the 1991 Gulf War demonstrates an instinctive aversion to the use of American force, even when it's clearly justified. Kerry's major policy proposals in this campaign range from implausible to ill-conceived. He has no real idea what to do differently in Iraq.
