After 'The Gift' - no new slayer?

Yes. I'm enjoying season 6. I just finished Smashed (ep 9). 'Once more with feeling' was tremendous. My wife, who tolerates my current Buffy obsession, watched it with me and she also enjoyed. That's saying a lot considering that she has a NY theater background.
As for Angel, I'm a little behind. I'm still in season 1. I just finished 'Sanctuary'. Too much to view and too little time.

I envey you so much. I have seen and read everything Joss has created so many times that I can barely stand to look at it any more. I would give anything to be back at the begining. Can't wait for his new show Dollhouse to air.
P.S. Just wait untill later in Angel. Wesley becomes a real character, and a much more interesting one than Angel, instead of just comic releif like he was on Buffy. He is the main reason I watched the later seasons of Angel.

I've had the fun to turn on a couple of friends,
where I would be rewatching the series (ALL of the serieses) with a friend who was seeing it all for the first time...
and it is SO much fun to get to enjoy their shock and surprise at every new development.
All of these really hold up to viewing many times, and I do see different things according to what is going on in my life.

Wait... in season 7 all the potentials talk about how if Buffy dies one of them will become the next slayer, if the Faith being the only one thing is true, would it change if Buffy died again?

I think that that was a sign that the potentials were being lied to...
they didn't know about Faith at that time (she doesn't show up until later)
they hadn't even been told about Kendra....
so I figured the writers were saying that long time fans knew the truth but the potentials were guessing without any information.
