The Browncoat formerly known as FireflyGal is now a puddle of fan grrl gooo on the floor of the Orlando Convention Center pooling suspiciously near where the table that Nathan Fillion sat at was located. Reports say FireflyGal suffered from too much Nathan goodness...

Hey FFG.....was that a great show or what?! I started a thread earlier today about my Nathan encounters and some of the other guests. Browncoats were certainly NOT disappointed! I really cannot believe the time and efforts Nathan put into this show...he was just amazing! When we left yesterday, my wife whispered to me that she can never have sex with me again! Were you sitting in the audience during the panel? Some of the questions were good & some were lame. I thought Nathan did a great job of keeping things upbeat and hysterical.

JS I totally forgot to look for you at the con :(
Yes, Nathan did pretty much take charge of the panel. I think Brenden carried that "remarkable" thing waaaay too long.
But yeah, it was a great con. Most of the guests you could spend time talking to.

Here's my Nathan report. If you're in the 76th, this is a repeat.
He called me “sweetness” but I’m getting a little ahead of myself.
FX Show in Orlando, was scheduled the same weekend as ChattaCon in Tennessee and so I was the only member of the 76th Battalion to make it to FX Show, where Nathan Fillion was one of the guests.
I wore my uniform on Saturday and as I waited online to be let in I wondered if some of the new show stars attending like Greg Grunberg of Heroes or Brad Beyer of Jericho would get all the attention.
Once allowed into the room, FX show is one large room, I had my answer. There was already a long line for Nathan started by the folks who had purchased passes that allowed early entry. Other star’s tables were not so crowded yet and I busied myself wandering around collecting some other autographs since Nathan hadn't shown up yet.
FX show uses a "virtual line” which works well when implemented in a timely manner. The idea is that you get a ticket with a number on it and every so often you check back and see if your number is listed on the board. You can get online anytime after your number is listed. That way, there are generally no more than 20 or so people waiting at any one time. The “virtual line” did not start for Nathan right away for some inexplicable reason.
I could tell when Nathan arrived, because there was thunderous applause, and after Nathan said something there was much laughter.
A few other guest lines had begun to elongate, George Takei for one. I went over to Nathan's line and patiently waited my turn. I chatted with other Browncoats, gave out some information on the 76th and met up with some folks I usually run into at the Orlando conventions.
There were about seven people excluding myself, who had sent me money, and/or items for Nathan's autograph. I decided a couple of items at a time would be best since then I'd have an "excuse" to see him more than just once. Plus, I didn't want to scare him to death with a ton of stuff to sign.
Nathan was very cordial and spent a bit of time with everyone. When my turn came, he looked up and said "we've met before." I managed a "yes at Dragon con." And he replied, "remind me of your name." I said "Aleta". My arms were full with two large posters, and I laid them down and Nathan asked "okay, what do we got."? I told him who he was signing what for, and as he signed I asked him when he was going to call Joss and find out about a sequel. He jokingly replied." As soon as I finish this autograph." I teased back and said "I would appreciate that." As I gathered the items Nathan had his arms out “helping” and asked "do you have that" I said, “I think so” and I walked to find a spot to safely put everything away.
I got some more autographs. I also spent some time shopping all the dealers. I ran into a friend of Archimedes Kitten who came down for the show and Nathan. She and I spent time talking Firefly and Nathan and Browncoaty type stuff.
Towards late afternoon, I decided to make my second trip to Nathan's table for more signing. The wait was shorter now that they had the virtual line going. I was hanging back waiting for the people in front of me to move on when Nathan looked up and said "come on up sweetness." Okay, I know he only called me sweetness because he didn't remember my name but Nathan can call me sweetness anytime his heart desires. There was less juggling this time, since it was only 8 x 10 photos and a comic I had for him to sign. He signed them all. "Stay shiny” which was a bummer, but not much you can do, I guess. Although on the comic cover Nathan signed "I know you can't read". Can't wait to see what the Browncoat in Arkansas thinks of that when he gets in the mail.
The FX staff was very liberal about photos. You could take as many as you wanted of Nathan but you just couldn't ask to pose with him. The staff would even let you move closer if there was room. I imagine the rules were the same for the other busy guests but as you can see in my post, many of the gues
