Squee!!!!!!! *fangirl moment!* He's one of the handful of BDMs I haven't gotten to meet that I wanted to meet most! :D AND THAT CON IS LESS THAN TWO HOURS AWAY!
It is my solemn goal to get all the BDMs' autographs, eventually, on my very pretty blue Serenity poster, which I've had for over a year - I've only gotten 2 so far, though! (Alan and Summer, missed last year's FX Show, or I'd have the good Shepherd's sig, too 
). Eventually I'm going to frame it up real pretty with my original ticket stubs from the first theatrical run, and it'll look super-shiny! :D
...any other Firefly/Serenity folks there this year, I wonder? A couple of my favorite Heroes from a certain other series will be there this year, which is nice.
Hey, out of curiosity, are there any folks selling cunning hats at FX this year? I've been wanting one for like, 2 years running now and still haven't got one! Also have been eying the River Triumphant statue, and wondering if I could ever find it cheaper the last day of the con, it's gorgeous but sooo much money! FX generally has a good dealers' room (in fact, the only reasons to go, I've found, is because of the guests, and the wallet-drainer, aka the dealers), but it's so huge, I can only hope to stumble upon things most times, you know?
Such an incentive to finally throw together that River costume now! :D

Many other great guests as you say, though.
If you're looking for a Jayne hat, they are all over the internet, especially E-Bay. You might even find the statue on Ebay. It might be available in the FX dealer's room too but I don't know about discounted.

It's the best line-up of guests to come to a Fla. show in many years. There are about 12 people I'm looking forward to meeting....and no, I don't mean Peter Mayhew either. He's become a regular fixture at Fla sci-fi cons lately, but he mostly hangs outside chain-smoking ciggys.
