Roommate situation is still up in the air, but I will definitely be there.

I bought my pass for this year at the Con this past time. Got our room reservations and vacation time requested.

An Alliance army couldn't keep me away.

They should mail you a goldenrod postcard with your name and a badge number on it once they receive your payment.

Shiny! Meeting you was one of the highlights of this past Dragon Con Kitten.

We'll be stayin' in the Hyatt again this year. Plannin' another room party, though we'll probably do Saturday night this year to avoid it folding up early because of the parade.

Everyone keeps telling me I have to go to D*C, but after going to Otakon for many years, I kinda tired on huge conventions. Is D*C just a huge mass of people, or can you actually get into events/small functions?

When I went to last years D*C I managed to get into most of the things that I wanted to. There was some pretty massive lines, and once or twice I had to beg and use sympathy to get in...but in general it was alright. There was also the crazy stuff with the fire marshall not letting people into hotels, but overall I'd say the good outnumbered the bad at D*C. It never put me off though, I'll be booking my flights for D*C'08 as soon as possible.
