Okay. I tried to be charitable here, but I have this sinking feeling that Giles and the others are gonna screw Faith over somehow. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's just a feeling I have. I really hope I'm wrong here. Then again, maybe Brian will surprise us all and something good will happen.

What am I saying, this is Buffy we're talking about.

I think, to give the story intensity and an arc, they have put Faith at odds w/Giles & Buffy....
Faith always had a lot of pain which led to being a loner...
and it looks to me like she'll be able to understand Gigi, and maybe save her....

But I believe in Faith's redemption, I have always believed in Faith's eventual redemption!

Well in this episode it looks like Faith is doing the screwing of the over. Perhaps not a lot but she is definitely on the "I'm doing this on my own" track. Plus only 2 D&D adds in this ish. I wonder if Hasbro is running out of money?

This issue was great, but man, did it seem short! I think we really could've done without the Dawn/Willow scene in this one in favor of three more pages of the Faith/Gigi story.

And I guess we finally have a pretty good idea who's hovering feet those were in issue #1: Gigi's Irish warlock guy (name escapes me just now). All--or at least, most--of the photos of Buffy seen at the end look to have been taken during that raid on the church back in #1. His gargoyles were probably carrying him as he played 'evil paparazzi' (actually, that's redundant, isn't it?)...

Loved the issue.

But I'm not really fearing that Giles and Buffy will screw her over. I am, however, fearing the death of Faith before the arc ends.

would Buffy have killed Geniveve? looks like the dark horse board thought so... willow asks about the grunts and buff is pretty much 'whack em!'.

naked faith and gigi discuss dirty paedos - was it just me that found that unsettling, or what???
