I note for the record the 9/11 was the most covered event in human history and watched live by nearly all Americans and most of the world. We saw it happen and common sense rules out what he's saying. Add to that the complete lack of evidence aside from his made up evidence which cites made up documentaries which cite made up studies which cite made up experts which then cite the original made up evidence in a never ending circle of make believe the only part of which is true being that Rosie O'Donnel is a large woman with wacky opinions...and what you get is crazy talk.

As he mentioned in another thread, and I have long had suspicions, why are so many of the car bombs over in iraq... american made cars ?
It kind of strains belief that they'd come over here and steal cars (yes, they actually tried to sell that bullshit of "terrorist" car theft rings) and blow the time, effort and resources to ship them all the way over there - when they could just steal some more locally made piece of shite and load it up, you know ?
Remember that back in 2005, circa 20 September, Iraqi police actually caught two guys dressed as locals trying to set up a car bomb, and they turned out to be British SAS, and the brits sent in a tank platoon with infantry support to demolish the local jail and grab em back before anyone could put the question to them.
Speculations abound, but that whole incident leaves a distinctively fishy aroma when you think about it.
Our own "security" folk are just as crazy as folk like to regard PN sometimes, homeland security folks recently spent a great deal of time, money and resources.. I kid you not, check into this one yourself... chasing down purchases of middle eastern food products in hopes of creating leads, something which generated great hilarity in Dearborn - some times you just have to laugh at the keystone cops we've hired in lieu of actual security.

We don't say it was "shot down by a govt conspiracy", we report that it was shot down as standard operating procedure when a nation is under attack. Those particular generals and pilots refused to obey Cheney's illegal order to stand down.
Whether anyone was on "Flight 93" is unknown. If it followed Pentagon's Operation Northwoods script, then a robot plane was substituted and no humans were on board. The mayor of Cleveland Ohio said on TV that Flight 93 landed at Cleveland Airport, and all passengers were quarantined at the NASA hangar. Colonel Donn deGrand Prix was the Pentagon insider who was told the confession by Lt Col Rick Gibney, who shot it down, and they concluded from their investigation that the pilots and passengers were killed and frozen solid by sabotage of the cabin pressurization and oxygen systems, and hijacked autopilot (Global Hawk flight system).
Helios Airways Flight 522 crashed in Greece, with all pilots and passengers frozen to death before impact. The F16 interceptor pilots were prepared to shoot it down, to protect the Olympics, but they saw a stewardess trying to fly the plane. It crashed when it ran out of fuel, since the autopilot would not turn off. All the airline executives were arrested when police raided the airline HQ, since the Boeing 737 had been sabotaged.

As an aside.... People have thought I was full of shit for over 5 years now when I told them that real estate was a bad investment and that prices would spiral out of control. Though we're only seeing it leveling off and dropping moderately in spots, my predicted reason for the price drops has yet to even happen. I always corrolated it with a future steep rise in interest rates (and conversely the rise in real estate value was due ONLY to the drastic lowering of interest rates in comparison to the early 80's). When that day happens, I have no doubt that my predictions will become the truth, and I have little faith that the ability to say "I told you so" will make me feel any better when I see people that I care about buried in trenches they'll likely never get themselves out of.
My buddy's house is worth $20,000 less today than it was a year ago. He was one of the non-believers. He's not selling it anytime soon so he doesn't really care, but funny how today not only do people not argue the fact that a house is a bad investment, if only for purely investment purposes, but it's kind of like a "no shit sherlock" reaction.

My point was that as little as three years ago everyone would argue me that real estate was the best investment you could make. When I explained to them that if interest rates on mortgages ever got over 20% as they did in the 1980's, there was no way somebody was going to pay $1.5 million for your $250,000 house after interest on a 30 year loan. They couldn't afford it even if they wanted to, considering how little our take home pay has risen against inflation and healthcare in the last decade in relation to the rediculous real estate boom (which as I mentioned was due entirely to the insanely low interest rates post 9/11.
And no... in America we have never seen a real estate market crash. We still haven't seen one now even though Wall Street is blowing it up to be one right now and beggin the FED to continue to drop interest rates. When it happens, you'll know what I'm talking about, and it's something that you or your grandparents have never seen before.
The only difference right now is that people aren't so quick to defend their position that real estate is the best investment and I don't hear too many people telling me that I waste money by renting when I'm able to put all the extra cash in a diverse portfolio instead. Between my roomates contribution and my portfolio's return, I don't even pay any rent.

One reason we own a house at all, is because we saw the 401k trainwreck coming, pulled it, and cycled it into a house, somewhat before housing prices went lunatic, and being that property is a real, physical good like precious metals, it'll go back up - the current market tanking is mostly due to what I call "house thieves"...
Those being assholes (especially citigroup) who'll offer you just about anything to take out a refinance or mortgage with them, and as soon as they suck em in... change payment dates, "forget" to mail statements, change the terms of the contract, anything, everything, to try and provoke a missed payment and then go immediately to foreclosure as quickly as possible, exploiting the endless loopholes and favorable laws they bought and paid for with money from ripping folk off... free market my ass, government collusion is no such thing.
Only, it's kinda hard to rip off poor people, since they don't HAVE any money - and now that this particular fact is boomeranging on the sons of bitches... what do they do ?

Just 2 months ago I cancelled my last credit card. I've been debt free for several years now, but you'd be amazed at how much needless shit you don't pay for if you don't have one. I also rid myself of my debit card and switched to just an ATM card. Unfortunately, my car just died last month, but I'm looking at a used car on Thursday I will be paying cash for. I will also never take a loan out on a house.
The way I figure it, I hope interest rates do rise to 20% on a home loan. House prices will crash big time and I'll likely be able to get a steal on a house and pay cash money for it.

As far as why the towers fell as they did, the analysis of the structural failures of all buildings, including Bldg 7, was performed at various universities known for their schools of civil engineering including my alma mater, Purdue University's school of Civil Engineering. It was like watching a lab in my CE231 class come to life. This is why buildings 1 and 2 came down. It's why bldg 7 came down. The steel that was being weakened simply could not support the massive weight of the building above.
